Add a widget block to your theme

Embedded offers need a block, which decides where the widget appears.

The quick way

When you choose Embedded in an offer, the app shows Click here to add the block. Click it, position the block, then click Save.

From the theme editor

1. Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize.
2. Choose the page type at the top of the editor, such as Products.
3. Click Add block in the sidebar, under the section you want.
4. Open the Apps tab.
5. Choose the block.
6. Drag it into position.
7. Click Save.

Note

Add only one block of each type to a page. An offer shows once, in the first block. A second block stays empty, and in the theme editor it shows a note instead of the offer.

Tip

An empty block shows nothing to shoppers. In the theme editor, it shows a note until a matching offer is active.
